It's our 31st Sister Peg Hynes Golf Tournament! This year we welcome home our new Executive Director, Carlos Morales, who began his professional career working alongside our beloved Sr. Peg. How blessed we are that this son of Waterfront South continues her legacy as our new leader!
Our Sister Peg Hynes Golf Tournament will again be held at the Pennsauken Country Club on Friday, May 25, 2018. There will be only one round of golf, beginning at 9:00 a.m. in the morning. An expanded buffet lunch is included with the golf ticket.
Non-Golfers are welcome to join us for our Awards Luncheon where we will be presenting the 2018 Sr. Peg Hynes. All who would like to attend the luncheon festivities may buy a "lunch only" ticket for $50. The buffet lunch will start when the golfers come off the course. "Lunch Only" guests should plan to arrive around 1:00pm to enjoy cocktails and the raffle auction.
Our 31st Anniversary Raffle Tickets are also available for $50 for this year's 50/50 Raffle. The top prize for the raffle has been in the $3,000 range in recent years!
The Heart of Camden was created and has dedicated itself to the purpose of improving the quality of life for the residents of the WaterFront South community. In these three-plus decades, with your support, we have restored over 300 homes and developed the Father Michael J. Doyle Fieldhouse and many other cultural amenities.
Unfortunately, there is still much to do, and we rely on your support, this year, more than ever. The Sister Peg Hynes Memorial Golf Tournament is our most important annual fundraiser for these programs and we thank you for your support by participating!
